Why do we make architecture?
Every project begins with that question. The answer is never repeated: it emerges through a dialogue between context, history, and the lives of those who will inhabit the space.
We understand architecture as a poetic cartography capable of turning attentive listening into precise decisions. We do not seek to impose a form, but to uncover the identity already latent in each place and each way of living.
We design houses and spaces that feel recognizable to those who inhabit them: rigorous enough to be built, sensitive to matter, light, and landscape, and open to changing over time.

We transform stories, places, and ways of living into concrete decisions until the work is materialized.

Listen to discover
We talk, walk the site, and build a detailed program that reveals priorities, daily rituals, and the project's real possibilities.
- 02
Name the guiding idea
We define the intention that will give the project unity. Its name, cartography, and concept connect the inhabitants' story with the conditions of the place.
- 03
Shape and test
We develop plans, models, sketches, and visualizations. Decisions are tested through reviews and visits to finish, window, and kitchen showrooms.
- 04
Resolve for construction
We translate the idea into coordinated construction documents: architecture, details, materiality, and clear technical criteria for building the work.
- 05
Accompany the work
We make architectural supervision visits and resolve questions to protect the project's spatial, formal, functional, material, and landscape intent.
SCOPE
The studio develops the architectural design, construction documents, technical coordination, and architectural accompaniment during construction. The final construction budget and permit management are not included in this scope.

Taller Gio Llamas is based in San Miguel de Allende and develops residential and commercial projects through a close, authored practice deeply connected to every client and every site.
