A cultivated place beneath celestial calm: a house more contained toward the exterior, finding its main bond not in the immediate context but in the sky.

SITE PLACEMENT

The house rests among vineyards with a monolithic presence. Two terraces break the volume while west and south porticos create precise openings toward the landscape.

LIVING EXPERIENCE

A long corridor receives the visitor and culminates in a double-height space lit from above before opening to the public rooms. From within, terraces and porticos continually recall the sky.

MATERIALITY

Dark mineral walls, a stone base, exposed concrete, wood, and glass reinforce the house's contained character and allow zenithal light and landscape to take the foreground.
